Sama Veda Pratishakhya (Pushpa Sutram)

Sama Veda Pratishakhya (Pushpa Sutram)

Sama Veda Pratishakhya is one of the structuring dynamics of Rk Veda. It highlights the quality of UNMANIFESTING THE PARTS BUT MANIFESTING THE WHOLE involved in structuring Rk Veda. With reference to consciousness, Sama Veda Pratishakhya comprises the specific sets of laws of Nature that are engaged in promoting the quality of Rishi — the observer, the witnessing quality — within the Samhita level of consciousness, providing a structure to the eternally silent, self-referral, self-sufficient, fully awake state of consciousness, which is intimately personal to everyone. (complete table of qualities)

Sama Veda represents wholeness with reference to the Rishi value. It corresponds in the physiology to the sensory systems. The integration of sensory input into higher order perception, allowing wholeness to emerge while unmanifesting the specific aspects of sensory experience, happens in the cerebral cortex.

The layer of the cerebral cortex which receives specific afferent (incoming) sensory inputs is Layer IV. This layer corresponds to Sama Veda Pratishakhya.

on the importance of
regular practice of the
Transcendental Meditation technique:

The principle of spontaneous administration lies in fully awake, self-referral consciousness. Fully awake, self-referral state of consciousness is just the stabilized quality of Transcendental Consciousness, which is available to anyone through regular practice of my Transcendental Meditation and the TM-Sidhi Programme:
